More about the National Culture Forum (NCF)
The National Culture Forum-NCF is a private sector led body registered as a non-profit company limited by guarantee with a board of 9 members, which is suppprted by a Secretariat. The National Culture Policy 2006 provides for it as the private sector led body to promote the participation of civil society and the private sector in the implementation of the culture policy. It was revujenated in 2019 and incorporated in 2021 as the apex body for all associations in the Culture and Creative Industries.
The forum has a current membership of 61 national associations. These are drawn from the following domains:
Music
Music, song writing, music Publishing, audio recording, music distribution, dance, live performance and shows, musical instruments, sound equipment, deejaying.
Performing arts
Comedy, drama, radio drama, theatre
Collecting Societies
CMOs for musical, audiovisual, literary and artistic works
